THE FAMOUS FRAME
The spirit of KADR is closely tied to the film history of 29 Łąkowa Street. Years ago, this address was home to the legendary Feature Film Studio, where some of the most iconic works of Polish cinema were created, including Forbidden Songs — the first Polish feature film made after World War II.
Today, a frame from the movie can be seen on the façade of the DoubleTree by Hilton Łódź hotel, home to KADR Restaurant. Inside, guests will discover countless details inspired by the former “Dream Factory,” where the legacy of Polish cinema can still be felt throughout the space.

DISCOVER THE HOTEL
KADR Restaurant is located inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Łódź hotel, right next to the famous Wytwórnia venue, home to concerts of leading Polish and international artists.
One of the hotel lobby’s most recognizable features is its suspended staircase, inspired by the iconic staircase of the former Feature Film Studio. Outside every guest room, visitors will find frames from Polish films created right here at 29 Łąkowa Street.
Guests can also enjoy the Wellness & Health Club on the 10th floor, featuring a swimming pool, jacuzzi, saunas, and a fully equipped gym — all with beautiful views overlooking Poniatowski Park and the city skyline.

GOLDEN BAR
Located right next to KADR Restaurant, Golden Bar naturally complements shared moments surrounded by inspiration from the world of cinema. The space gains its unique character from an original 1932 film camera once used at the Łódź Feature Film Studio.
The menu features carefully selected spirits from around the world, signature movie-inspired cocktails, and seasonal specialties. It is a place where visuals, atmosphere, and emotions come together — also during the most important live sports broadcasts.
